Health Choice Enterprises can assist your facility with the required fire and smoke damper inspections.
We’ve been in the industry for over 20 years helping clients stay in compliance with their local building codes and accreditation agencies. We provide damper inspection services for clients in several industries such as healthcare, education, commercial, hospitality and industrial.
Fire and Smoke Damper operation is a key component to stopping the spread of fire, smoke, and toxic fumes. According to the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA), most fire deaths are not caused by burns, but by smoke inhalation. The line of defense against a deadly fire is the quick and efficient operation of your facilities dampers.
Health Choice will help you keep your staff, visitors, and patients safe and provide you with the proper documentation your local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requires.
Fire and Smoke Damper inspections are required 1 year after installation for all facilities. Every 6 years in healthcare occupancies and every 4 years for non-healthcare occupancies.
